SchlixX

Leaves and other organic ingredients often deposit at the bottom and form a sludge layer that stores many free nutrients – especially phosphate, which is an important nutrient resource for algae. SchlixX works in two ways: On the one hand, oxygen is released which is used by the micro-organisms in the water in order to break down organic material. On the other hand, the phosphate released during this process is permanently bound to unsoluable mineral apatite and is therefore no longer available for the algae as a nutrient. This significantly reduces the amount of sludge and the water volume is increased. The probability of blue algae blooming is also reduced.
